The Bear Creek, Haleyville, and Hackleburg Fire Departments responded to a fire at the farm of Ted Hallman on State Highway 241 North in Bear Creek Thursday morning. The fire completely destroyed one chicken house, but the firemen on the scene were able to stop the fire from spreading to the other structures. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
