The Fall Festival in the parking lot at HES was fun and cold on Saturday afternoon, October 27. The festival is an annual event sponsored by several local churches as an alternative to Halloween events. Because of temperature in the forties and windy, the turn out this year was about half that of last year. An estimated crowd of 2500 to 3000 still came out to enjoy the entertainment, trunk-or-treat, free hot dogs and cotton candy. Last year's event, with better weather had over 6,000 visitors, one of the largest public events in this area.
