BEAR CREEK — Quite the scare for a Bear Creek woman Monday morning when she discovered her 3-year-old missing shortly before 9:30. Police and fire were notified and area rescue squads and firefighters were marshalling at their stations to prepare for a search when the child’s grandparents showed up around 10 AM with the child in tow. They had taken the child into town and the mother did not know.
