Power was restored at City Hall around 10 AM Tuesday morning. Most of the city had power before sunrise after severe thunderstorms took down trees and powerlines throughout the area around 1 AM. Firefighters spent several hours clearing trees from roads and off a home in South Haleyville. No significant damage was reported. ALDOT crews cleared AL195 near Needmore by 3:30 AM after a felled tree blocked most of the road for around two hours.
