A two-vehicle accident on AL13 South at the intersection of 10th Avenue around 12:45 PM Tuesday sent three people to the hospital with undisclosed injuries. The accident, involving two pick-up trucks, sent one truck off the highway into the woods with its two passengers. One passenger, a woman, crawled back up to the road. The driver of the truck that left the road was extracted by Haleyville firefighters. The driver of the other truck, a young man, was walking around, but later was transported as well. All three were taken to Lakeland Community Hospital. Haleyville Police are investigating the accident.
