Vandalism Strikes Mail Boxes By Glenn Collins Tuesday, June 26, 2012 | 9:02 AM

Haleyville Police, last week, were looking into a series of vandalism acts against people's mail boxes. According to Police Chief Kyle Reogas it appears that large rocks were used to damage mail boxes in the areas of 3000- and 3100-blocks of 17th Avenue, 100-block of Maple Street, and Lakeshore Drive. Six mail boxes were reported damaged.

Reogas said, "This is a type of activity we see two or three times each year where individuals, who have nothing else better to do, ride around and destroy other people's property."

The damage was discovered June 17.
