At the request of the President, Governor Robert Bentley has directed flags to be displayed at half-staff on Monday, May 28, 2012, in honor of Memorial Day, the day set aside to honor all those service members who have fallen and to remember their noble service and sacrifice for freedom. Flags should remain at half-staff until noon on Monday.
