Haleyville Police, along with the District Attorney's Office and Alabama Bureau of Investigation, are investigating the death of Danny Joe Baxter, 57, of Haleyville. His body was discovered early Tuesday morning in his apartment in the Rosewood Apartments complex. District Attorney Jack Bostick said the cause of death has yet to be determined. The body is en route to the State Medical Examiner for autopsy.
