Fire Destroys Waldrop Home

Fire totally destroyed the home of Sharon Waldrop, 174, County Road 3215, just off Macedonia Road Thursday morning. The Haleyville Fire Department responded to the call at 9:44 a.m. and spent almost 3 hours on the scene. However, the house was a total loss. Waldrop was down the street visiting her brother at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown.
