Haleyville Fire Chief Phillip Weaver was on hand for a house fire Monday morning about 10 a.m. caused little damage to the house from fire. It was mostly smoke from an unknown source. The quick response by the Haleyville Fire Department prevented the fire from causing extensive damage. 

Jeff Loveless, who lived at the residence, was at work at the time and no one was injured.
