A two vehicle accident around 7 p.m. Sunday on 14 Avenue left two damaged vehicles but no injuries. Kenan Griffus, 17 driving a 2000 Honda Accord, lost control of his car and struck the left front of a Ford 250 pickup driven by Hunter Smitherman, 18. The Honda appeared to be totaled, with all the airbags deployed. Neither Griffus nor his 4 passengers were injured. The ford had a bent fender and a flat left front tire. Alabama State Troopers investigated the accident.
