Haleyville firemen worked hard this week to move the remaining items from the Haleyville Fire Station Number one behind city hall. The building should be completely dismantled by this Friday to make way for the new CVS which will be built on the present site of the city hall and fire station. The demolition of the fire station is being done by Nathan Hulsey and his local company Trees-R-Us. Meanwhile, the Haleyville Fire Department has temporarily relocated to the fire department training facility just on Highway 13 North awaiting the move into the new fire station on Highway 13 North at 6th Avenue. Demolition begins Monday on the city hall.
