Joseph Henson Tony Fountain

Two people were arrested and charged with burglary by Haleyville Police officers following a break-in Thursday morning, April 16, around 3 a.m. at Fred's in Haleyville. A brick was thrown through a glass door at the front of the store and the building entered by two men who ransacked the cigarette area at the front of the store. The two young men were arrested later on the same day where they lived at 2504 15th Avenue. Both had recently moved to Haleyville. The investigation by police was made relatively easy by the two men themselves who were identified by a store employee from a surveillance video. The two had been in the store two days prior and applied for a job and had listed where they were living on 15th Avenue on their applications. The two arrested were Joseph Henson, 21, orginally from Sheffield, and Tony Fountain, 20, orginally of Cherokee. Both were incarcirated in the Winston County Jail.
