The Haleyville City Board of Education met Tuesday for the monthly meeting. All board members were present, and the following items were approved.

• Minutes from the 10/28/14 regular meeting
• Expenditures for October 2014 in the amount of $1,400,913.27
• HHS Activity Supplements for 2014-15 school year
• Renea Allen as voluntary cheer sponsor for 2014-15 school year
• Wellness Policy on Nutrition/Physical Activity and Amendments to the CNP Policy to be sent to components for input
• Substitute Teacher List
• CSFO Evaluation Instrument
• The following consent items:
  • HMS Library to hold Scholastic Book Fair Jan. 30-Feb. 6, 2015
  • HHS to hold Seniors vs. Faculty volleyball game Nov. 25, 2014
  • HHS Library to hold Scholastic Book Fair Dec. 1-9, 2014
  • HHS Softball to sell advertising signs Nov. 19, 2014-Feb. 19, 2015
  • HHS Softball to have 20/20 program Nov. 19, 2014-Feb. 19, 2015
  • Use of HMS Gym to Wild Animal Adventure for presentation Jan. 20, 2015
  • Field trip request for 4^th grade and teachers to travel to Hamilton for a presentation of The Nutcracker Dec. 11, 2014
• Resignation of Tiffany Donnan as 6^th grade English Teacher at HMS
• Hire of the following teachers as tutors for the Extended Day Program: Vicki Bishop, Julie Brooks, Bettie Creel, Heather Evans, Elaine Tank, and Robin Wilson
