Ken Ingle, of Littleville Road in Haleyville, has been hauling railroad wheels from Macon, Georgia, to various railroad repair facilities within a 500-mile radius of Macon. Two other Haleyville truckers, Jeff Bonner and Teddy Morton, also haul railroad wheels for the Greenbriar Rail Service in Macon. Each load of 16 sets of wheels weighs 46,000 pounds, enough to provide new wheels and axles for four standard box or flatbed rail cars.
