The kindergarten classes of Haleyville Elementary School participated in Community Helpers Week last week. Kindergarteners learned about many people in our community who provide valuable services. They also had visitors in the classrooms who talked about their jobs and what they do to help the community. Some of the professionals the students learned about were doctors, police officers, firefighters, lifeguards, veterinarians, and mail carriers. The photo below shows all kindergarteners dressed in attire from these professionals. The photos above are the doctors from the classroom of Mrs. Dina Sparks and Mrs. Leah Epperson's lifeguards with Community Helpers, Will Evans and Reid Haughton.
