School Bus Accident

There was a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Maple Street and Cedar Avenue in Hilltop Subdivision Thursday afternoon around 4:00. The vehicles involved were a school bus from Haleyville City Schools and a GMC truck. The truck was parked in the roadway, and the school bus was turning from Cedar Avenue onto Maple Street. There were five students on the bus when the accident occurred, but no one was injured. The accident is under investigation by the Haleyville Police Department. Names of the drivers are expected to be released soon.
