After more than three years in temporary situations on the campus of Northwest Shoals Community College, in mobile units, and at community churches, the Phil Campbell Bobcats have a new place to call home. Students filled the halls of the new PCHS building Monday for the first time. According to PCHS officials, the transition went even better than expected with only a few minor glitches. A few students wandered the hall looking for classrooms, and adjustments to new routines began. However, the smiles on the faces of the students made the hard work worth it for Phil Campbell educators.
The new school is not currently open for public tours, but an open house ceremony is expected soon so the community can visit.
Welcome home, Bobcats!
