Special Called BOE

The Haleyville City Board of Education met for a special called meeting Friday morning. The following items were approved.  

- amended athletic assignments for the 2014-15 school year

- contract for Architectural services with Goodwyn, Mills and Carwood Inc. for

       the Haleyville High School Cafeteria renovation

- 2014-15 CNP Handbook

- approval of Drayer Physical Therapy Institute as volunteer athletic trainers for the  2014-15 school year

- volunteer Cheer Sponsors for the 2014-15 school year.

The following personnel changes were approved:

- hire Trent Graves as History Teacher at Haleyville High School 

-  hire Lee Frix as Physical Education/Health Teacher at Haleyville High School 

-  hire Charles Moody as Physical Education/History Teacher at Haleyville High School 

-  resignation of Kelly Rushing as Physical Education Teacher at Haleyville Middle School 

-  voluntary transfer of Trey George from Science Teacher at Haleyville High School to

       Physical Education Teacher at Haleyville Middle School

-  hire Vicki Pendley as Science Teacher at Haleyville High School

-  hire Jennifer Warhurst as Assistant Principal at Haleyville High School 

-  voluntary transfer of Al Temple from Assistant Principal at Haleyville Middle School to Assistant Principal at Haleyville High School 

-  voluntary transfer of Jennifer Warhurst from Assistant Principal at Haleyville High School to Assistant Principal at Haleyville Middle School 

-  hire Elaine Frix as Elementary Teacher at Haleyville Elementary School
