The Haleyville City Board of Education met Tuesday evening for their monthly meeting. All board members were present, and the following items were approved. 

-minutes from 1/28, 1/31, and 2/4 meetings

-board expenditures from January 2014 in the amount of $1,360,346.42

-field trip for boys basketball team and Coach Reid to travel to Fort Payne for tournament Dec. 20-23

-field trip for JV and/or Middle School cheerleaders and Wendy Rushing for UCA Cheer Camp May 27-30

-John Barton as volunteer track coach for 2014 season

-sell of magnum lift/rack with bad cylinder to Bobby Knight for $800

-use of HHS track for the Mark Forester Price of Freedom Race May 17

-use of HHS football field for Haleyville LIons Club Easter Egg Hunt April 19

-sell of a printer to Michael Jones for $301

-Lila Dodd as the Diamond Darling sponsor for the 2013-2014 school year

-TIm McNutt as the Athletic Event Photographer for the 2013-2014 school year

-amendment to CNP Handbook

-Governing Principles Policy to components from input

-declaration of lights, fixtures, and accessories that were removed from the baseball and softball fields as surplus equipment

-retirement of Linda Godsey as the Coordinator of Education Services effective 1/1/15

-Christy Hyde as the Special Education bus driver for the 2013-2014 school year

-7 fundraisers
