The Haleyville American Legion Post 33 Baseball Team will be competing in the state tournament this weekend.  Tournament play begins Thursday afternoon, and the state championship game will be played Sunday.

Haleyville was defeated by Wilson in the first game of regional play last week, but they rebounded with four wins against Rogers, Florence, Wilson, and Arab to advance to the state tournament. Pitchers for the tournament were Dillon Posey, Zach Marbutt, Hunter Hood, Brandon Odom, and Jordan Brimer. Haleyville's first game in the state tournament will be Thursday at 3:00 against Childersburg.

Good luck Post 33!
