Schedule of Events for 9-1-1 Festival

The annual 9-1-1 Festival is scheduled for Friday evening and Saturday.  The weekend is slammed with activities to please the entire family, and most of those activities will take place in Downtown Haleyville.  A full listing of activities are listed below. 

Friday, May 31

2:00 p.m.- Vendors will begin setting up on Main Street, and traffic will be blocked to traffic in the downtown mall. Setup will also begin for the Barbeque competition and the Kids' Zone. 

(Music stage will be in the parking lot above the Safe Center.)

5:30 p.m.- Joseph Baldwin 

6:30 p.m.-Tremayne

7:30 p.m.- The Springs

9:00 p.m.- Shenandoah

Saturday, June 1

7:00 a.m.-Lakeland Community Hospital 5K Fun Run

8:00 a.m.- Classic Car Show

9:00 a.m.- Kids' Zone opens and Rebel Yell on the music stage

10:00 a.m.- Haleyville Alumni and 9-1-1 Festival Parade 

11:30 a.m.- Haleyville Alumni Luncheon at HES Cafeteria

Afternoon- Awards presented for Barbeque Contest, Classic Car Show, and Antique Tractor Show

The parade will begin at the Haleyville Elementary School at 10:00 a.m. It will go up 19th Street, cross behind the Fire Station, and come out between Hicks Tire Pros and City Hall.  It will continue across Highway 13 in front of Piggly Wiggly and past Dixie Flowers and the back side of the downtown mall.  It will then come back down 21st Street by Fred's and cut across 10th Avenue and back to 20th Street to return to HES.
