Lions Club Donates for Boys State

The Haleyville Lions Club recently made a donation to the American Legion Post 33 to pay for a student at Haleyville High School to attend Boys State. Boys State is a program designed for attendees to learn about government and its functions by participating in mock government events and to meet current Alabama leaders such as Congressmen, civic leaders, and state elected officials.
