A fire late Friday night destroyed the 75,000sf PosterCraft Manufacturing building in Double Springs. With minor exterior damage, the office building was saved.
Charles "Casey" Jones, owner of PosterCraft, stated he intends to relocate and reopen as soon as he can find a suitable location. With 75 to 80 employees to put back to work, the company has orders to fill and no manufacturing facility.
Jones says he would like to re-locate in at least a 100,000sf building or even 150,000sf. Jones, originally from Mississippi, said he had come to love this area and especially the people. He wants to keep the plant in Winston County.
Every fire department in Winston County as well as Bear Creek responded to the fire to assist the Double Springs Fire Department. Technically, a 12 alarm fire. The State Fire Marshall was called to the scene and the cause of the fire is unknown at present.
