The Lakeland Community Hospital sponsored a Heart Disease Awareness Class for women Thursday night. The class was made to inform women about hte risks, signs, and symptoms associated with heart disease. Lakeland Community Hospital is currently working to offer more education opportunities for the community. The next class will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, in the conference room at the hospital. The topic will be Alzheimer's and Dementia Support. This program will be sponsored by the LakePoint Behavioral Healthcare Facility.
