There was a car fire on State Highway 13 just south of the Don Tidwell Bridge. The Bear Creek Fire Department responded to a call of a fully involved car fire. They were able to extinguish the flames within moments of arrving at the scene. The driver reported that he saw flames and immediately pulled off the road. The flames entered the cab of the vehicle, but the driver was able to escape unharmed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
