The Lions played a great game but was just no match for the private school which does appear to have advantages when it comes to players and facilities. Their field boasts a Jumbotron once used by Vanderbilt and wireless microphones for the referees to announce their calls. The loss was not a regional game and it may be possible for Haleyville to see another game against Madison Academy in postseason play.
