A Chevy Malibu, driven by Kathy Oliver Smith collided with a Ford pickup driven by Jeffry Lester Thrasher at the intersection of Highway 13 north and County Highway 85, just north of Haleyville. Thrasher, whose pickup left the road and struck a power pole, was transported by ambulance to the ER. Both parties had Haleyville addresses.
