{"id":338,"date":"2016-03-07T09:58:09","date_gmt":"2016-03-07T09:58:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hbtv.us\/News-for-Haleyville\/?p=338"},"modified":"2016-03-12T18:29:57","modified_gmt":"2016-03-12T18:29:57","slug":"338","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hbtv.us\/News-for-Haleyville\/338\/","title":{"rendered":"Controlled Burn"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Bankhead National Forest is planning to burn\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">1238<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0acres today\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">near Ashridge Community in Winston County<\/span><span class=\"s1\">.\u00a0 During today\u2019s burn, the public will notice Forest Service fire crews and equipment.\u00a0 Smoke may also be visible on\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">Winston County Road 60 and AL HWY 195, located South and West of this burn area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">The wind is expected to be out of the\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">South<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0and carry the smoke to the\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">North<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0towards Moulton.\u00a0 As the temperatures cool later today, the smoke may begin to settle down\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">the Caney Creek drainage.<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0 Some settling may also occur around the general area of the burn.
