Urfer, 34, was critically injured when the 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche that he was driving left the roadway, struck a road sign, overturned, then struck another road sign and caught fire.\u00a0 Prior to the Chevrolet catching fire, Urfer was ejected.\u00a0 He was transported to the Cullman Regional Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries while being treated.\u00a0He was not using his seat belt at the time of crash.\u00a0 The crash occurred on U.S. 278 near Glover Road, approximately two miles west of Addison, in Winston County.\u00a0 Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency\u2019s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HAMILTON POST\u2014A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, has claimed the life of a Houston man.\u00a0 Seth R.
