The Haleyville City Council met Tuesday, February 22, with all members present.\u00a0 TheJanuary\u00a0 general bills and purchase orders were approved in the amount of $335, 731.76. The Council approved a change order to the Mineral Springs project, Resolution 22.06.<\/p>\n
Also approved was the purchase of an ice making machine for the Sports Complex for $$,923.00.<\/p>\n
The next scheduled meeting of the Haleyville City Council will be Monday, March 7, 5:30 pm at the Haleyville City Hall.<\/p>\n
RESOLUTION # 2022-06<\/b><\/p>\n
WHEREAS<\/b> the City of Haleyville is currently working on the 2020 Neighborhood Improvements, 7th<\/sup><\/span> Avenue South \u2013 Mineral Springs Apartments, Streets, Drainage, Water, and Sanitary Sewer, CDBG Project No. LR-CM-CP-20-021, AND<\/p>\n WHEREAS<\/b> the Contractor for 2020 Neighborhood Improvements, 7th<\/sup><\/span> Avenue South \u2013 Mineral Springs Apartments, Streets, Drainage, Water, and Sanitary Sewer, CDBG Project No. LR-CM-CP-20-021, Robinson & Sons Construction Services, Inc., has requested Change Order No. 3 to adjust the final contract price based on installed quantities, resulting in a net decrease in the contract price of $65,542.58.\u00a0 <\/span>Refer to the attached Change Order form for a detailed description of the items included in Change Order No. 3.<\/p>\n WHEREAS<\/b> the Project Engineer, Calvin Cassady, P.E. of The Cassady Company, Inc., has reviewed and approved Change Order No. 3.<\/p>\n NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Haleyville<\/b>, that Mayor Ken Sunseri is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 3 (to be made a part of this Resolution) approving the change in work resulting in a net decrease in contract price of $65,542.58 for the 2020 Neighborhood Improvements, 7th<\/sup><\/span> Avenue South \u2013 Mineral Springs Apartments, Streets, Drainage, Water, and Sanitary Sewer, CDBG Project No. LR-CM-CP-20-021.<\/p>\n Adopted and approved this the 22<\/i><\/b>nd<\/sup><\/i><\/b><\/span> day of February 2022.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The Haleyville City Council met Tuesday, February 22, with all members present.\u00a0 TheJanuary\u00a0 general bills and purchase orders were approved in the amount of $335, 731.76.
