The fire was reported to 9-1-1 by Misty Evans Batchelor who lives across the street. She had been awakened by her young son and saw flames coming from her brother&#8217;s house.\u00a0 Misty&#8217;s husband went over to the burning house and tried to see anyone through the windows to no avail. An explosion drove him away from the fire as firemen started arriving on the scene.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-17602 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/hbtv.us\/News-for-Haleyville\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/part0-224x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"285\" height=\"380\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hbtv.us\/News-for-Haleyville\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/part0-224x300.jpg 224w, https:\/\/hbtv.us\/News-for-Haleyville\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/part0-600x800.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 285px) 100vw, 285px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The bodies of Cara Evans, 44, her daughter, Annabelle Evans, 8, and her son, Jacob Evans, 4. were recovered from the scene and will be taken to forensics in Huntsville. Her husband was at work in Russellville at the time of the fire.
