Gasaway, 32, was fatally injured when the 2005 Chevy Trailblazer he was driving left the roadway, struck a tree, and was ejected. Gasaway was pronounced deceased while being transported to the hospital.\u00a0 The crash occurred on Alabama 243 near Osborne Lane, approximately six miles east of Haleyville.
