The lone occupant got out, but then returned in an unsuccessful attempt to recover his dog. Dwayne Kois, 40, was transported by ambulance to the Russellville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The exact cause of the blaze is unknown but is being investigated by the State Fire Marshall.
