The Council approved the operation bills and Purchase Orders for May in the amount of $457,442.40.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-12277\" src=\"http:\/\/hbtv.us\/News-for-Haleyville\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/LIGHTS-300x132.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"643\" height=\"283\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hbtv.us\/News-for-Haleyville\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/LIGHTS-300x132.jpg 300w, https:\/\/hbtv.us\/News-for-Haleyville\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/LIGHTS-1024x450.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/hbtv.us\/News-for-Haleyville\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/LIGHTS-768x337.jpg 768w, https:\/\/hbtv.us\/News-for-Haleyville\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/LIGHTS-150x66.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 643px) 100vw, 643px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After a demonstration of LED lighting by Trent Stephenson of MPE Services of Florence, the Council approved the purchase and installation of LED replacement lights for the Neighborhood Facilities Building and the 21st Street gym for a total cost of $7,521.00.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Resolution 2018-7 was passed giving approval for a tax abatement to Kith Kitchens. The company met the criteria for the 10-year abatement with a major $6.5 million expansion project.
