Miracle on Highway 195

It was “The Miracle on Highway 195” today when a Secret Santa dropped down the chimney at Wal-Mart.

This anonymous giver of good cheer paid off the layaways of approximately 70 families.

WalMart General Manager Ken Farr said, “It's been a phenomenal day, an amazing day."

Farr said that one customer walked in to cancel her layaway because she had to choose between Christmas for her children and bills, and the bills were winning. Farr said everyone was in or near tears when she was told that her layaway balance was now zero. For her, and almost 70 families, Christmas will indeed come.

Farr added, "With everything you normally hear about in today's world, this is truly a person who made a wonderful Christmas for others."

The Secret Santa only asked that he remain anonymous and that others be encouraged to help as he did.
