Veterans to Be Honored, Parade set for Saturday

Haleyville High School will honor all Veterans Wednesday, November 9, 9 a.m. during assembly in the HHS gym. Refeshments for Veterans will be served prior to the assembly in the high school conference room across from the principal's office. All Veterans are invited to attend. 

Phillips High School student government association will host a Veterans Day Program on Thursady, November 10 T 8:30 a.m. In the PHS gymnasium with a reception to follow in the FCCLA room.

The Veteran's Parade for Haleyville will be on Saturday, November 12 at 10 a.m. 

Veteran's, churches, elected officials, civic clubs, fire departments, rescue squads, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and any group or individual(s) who wish to be a part of the parade are welcome to put a float, a  vehicle or march in the parade.  
 
The line up is 9:30 a.m. on 20th Street in front of the Haleyville Water Department and across from First National Bank.  
 
The Wreath Laying Ceremony will be immediately following the parade at the Veteran's Memorial at Haleyville City Hall.
