County-Wide DL Checks

Law enforcement conducted driver license checks throughout the county Friday night, checking licenses, vehicle registrations and proof of insurance.

Haleyville and Double Springs Police officers, Winston County Sheriff's deputies, ABC agents and Alabama State Troopers participated in the enforcement effort. At least one DUI arrest and multiple traffic citations were reported from multiple, simultaneous checkpoints.
