The City of Haleyville has opened all streets, as of 11:52 AM.

Mayor Ken Sunseri and Police Chief Kyle Reogas stress that, while open, drivers must proceed with caution. "We discourage anyone from driving unless abosulutely necessary," they said in a joint statement.

While main roads are in decent shape, secondary and other roads range from poor to treacherous. In toto, travelling is dangerous.

With temperatures not forecast to be above freezing until Friday, the danger of black ice looms, especially after dark when it is hard to see. The Mayor and Chief discourage anyone from driving after dark.

City offices will open tomorrow, delayed until a determination can be made in the morning.
