Early Commuters Use Caution

Early-morning commuters heading north and/or east should use caution Wednesday morning before sunrise. The National Weather Service in Huntsville stated in a Hazardous Weather Outlook:

"AS TEMPERATURES FALL BELOW FREEZING TONIGHT...PATCHY BLACK ICE WILL FORM ON ROADWAYS WHERE RESIDUAL WATER REMAINS. PATCHY BLACK ICE WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT SOME AREAS EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING...BUT WILL MELT SHORTLY AFTER SUNRISE."
