Absentee Ballot Application Deadline

(MONTGOMERY) Secretary of State Beth Chapman wants to remind all registered voters that Thursday, October 28 is the last day for county absentee election managers to receive absentee ballot applications for the November 2 general election.

Marked absentee ballots sent by US mail must be postmarked no later than November 1 and must be received no later than noon on November 2. If the voter chooses to hand deliver his absentee ballot, the ballot must be received no later than the close of business on November 1.

"Your vote is your voice," said Chapman. "Let your voice be heard loud and clear on Election Day."
