The Student Government Association of Haleyville High School recently announced its new officers for the 2010-2011 school year. They are Co-Vice President Amber Rowland, Committee Chair Tori Kennedy, Committee Chair Tia Haltiwanger, Committee Chair Aeriel Hood, Secretary Tesha Vickery, Co-President Alexandra McCarley, Co-President Will King, Parliamentarian Bethany Cooley, Treasurer Sarah Sibley, Recording Secretary Anna Margaret Tank and Co-Vice President Nic Palmer.

HHS SGA is proud to announce that on Awards Day, it awarded over $14,500 in scholarships to graduating seniors. This was only possible with the community's immense support through the sale of Spirit, Homecoming, Hamilton, and Basketball t-shirts. 2010 spirit shirts will go on sale beginning at HHS locker rental/schedule pickup, HMS open house, and HES classroom roster postings.
