Missing Man Found Dead in Pond

Mitchell John Warren, 83, left his residence of 15181 County Road 63N in the Grayson area of Winston Country on December 20 or 21. Mr. Warren suffered from dementia and had been missing from his home since that time. According to Sheriff Hobby Walker, many hours were spent by fire and rescue personnel searching for Mr. Warren. The neighbors never stopped. His body was discovered Sunday, January 10, floating in a small pond near a residence approximately one mile from where he lived. An autopsy showed death by drowning and dementia. |
