Governor Presents $450,000 Grant to City

Governor Robert Bentley was in Haleyville Monday morning to formerly present a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for $450,000 to the city of Haleyville at the Safe Room. The grant is specifically for the repair of streets, water and sewer lines in the Cripple Creek sub-division, just off Newburg Road.   

Governor Bentley thanked the people who made the grant possible, including Congressman Robert Aderholt, Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA), and State Representative Ken Johnson.
