Relay For Life Moved Indoors

The American Cancer Society Relay for Life Event, scheduled for next Saturday at the Malcolm Blake Stadium in Double Springs, has been moved to the Double Springs Community Center on Hwy 278. Bill Lakeman said the move was made "because of the forecast of thunder storms during the day." The event at the Community Center will begin at 1 PM with the Survivor Luncheon.  The remainder of the afternoon will take place in the gym with a shortened afternoon of activities.  The event will end around 6 PM. Due to limited space in the building, there are no plans for team preparation of meals.
