Haleyville Wins Over Carbon Hill

The Haleyville High Lions varsity football defeated Carbon Hill Friday night 30-0, which was the first win of the season for the Lions. Carbon Hill was the first regional game, thus one that counts toward rankings for the season. HHS was defeated by Winston County and Red Bay in the first two opening games, but made a great showing against the Blue Devils of Carbon Hill.

Winston County (3A) continued it's winning streak by defeating Hanceville 48-20. Red Bay, (2A) defeated Cherokee 42-12. This Friday night, Haleyville travels to Fayette County for the second regional game of the season. Fayette County defeated Hamilton 42-40. The remainder of the season schedule is as follows:
