HHS Alumni Scholarships and Senior of the Year

Each year the Haleyville High School Alumni Scholarship Foundation awards four outstanding Haleyville High School graduates with scholarships during the graduation ceremonies. This presentation began in 1992 as a dream of Mr. Jerry Jackson. Since that time, the scholarship foundation has helped approximately sixty Haleyville High School graduates further their education through these alumni scholarships. 

During the 2015 commencement exercises of Haleyville High School, Ms. Beverly Donaldson presented four Haleyville High School graduates with $4,000 scholarships, totaling $16,000 of scholarship money over the four year period the graduates will attend the colleges and universities of their choices.  This year’s recipients were Ashley Blanco, Conner Kiser, Emma Rains, and Lacie Rowe. 

In addition, Ms. Donaldson also represented the Haleyville High School Alumni Association to present the award for the 2015 Senior of the Year. This year’s recipient was Miss Caroline Walker.
