School Bus Collision

There was a collision Friday morning just after 7 a.m. between a Haleyville school bus and a 2012 Ford Focus at the intersection of 20th Street and Highway 13. The driver of the Ford, Lauren Tittle, 18, stated in a moment of inattention, she did not see the traffic light and drove through a red light and was struck on the right side by the school bus. Ryan Tittle, 19, Lauren's brother was a passenger on the right side of the Focus which took the blunt of the collison. Both Lauren and Ryan are seniors at Haleyville High School. There was minor damage to the bus, and fortunately, there were no injuries from the accident.
