The Alabama Sports Writers Association released the 2014 All State Teams Sunday, and many local athletes received this honor. Listed below are the athletes from Marion and Winston Counties who were named All-State Athletes for the 2014 season.
Class 1A First Team:
Kicker: Braden Pyron- Marion County High School
Receiver: Tyler Crumpton- Phillips High School
Punter: Ryan Cagle- Lynn High School
Linebacker: Connor Roberts- Marion County High School
Class 1A Second Team:
Defensive Lineman: Tanner Swinney- Hackleburg High School
Offensive Lineman: Bryant Crow- Marion County High School
Receiver: Jared Wallace- Marion County High School
Running Back: Kristian Jones- Hackleburg High School
Quarterback: Matt Harper- Hackleburg High School
Class 1A Honorable Mention:
