Ground Broke For New Fire Station

Construction crews broke ground on the new Haleyville Fire Station last week. The fire station is being built in the lot adjacent to the current CVS Shopping Center. Dymac Contracting Inc. from Lynn is the contractor on the first phase of the project that will include the site preparation, concrete foundation, and the main external structure components. When it is completed, the station will be made of metal and split face blocks.
